I love this layout as I wanted to include all these photo's of the girls playing in the pool in Mexico. I used the Sunny Day scrappin' kit for this layout. I love this colour combination of Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.

Christmas Jingle demonstration
I had prepared more samples to show and to talk about for the scrapbook demonstration that I did on Global TV Saturday morning however we didn't have the opportunity to show them. So here are a few of the pages that I created using the Christmas Jingle scrapbook kit. This kit is available until June 30 2010 so it is a great kit to have to scrapbook Christmas '09 after you've developed your photo's! It is a great colour combination of Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Very Vanilla.

Cards using the Christmas Jingle Scrappin' Kit
Here are a few samples of some cards that I made using the Christmas Jingle kit. This is something that I have seen done over the past few years and I finally got around to making them with a Christmas kit for this year - and I am so glad that I did. I used approx 1/2 of a Scrappin' kit along with a pkg of Very Vanilla 8 1/2x 11 cardstock and some 5/8" Real Red grosgrain ribbon and I made 15 cards. I still have lots of materials remaining. For each customer that purchased a kit from me at any of my workshops this fall, received the instructions on how to make all of my cards.
I received my inspiration from the blogs of Andrea Walford, Stamp with Jeanne, and S.T.A.R.S.
Check back for more samples!

How many more days until Christmas??
This Avent Calender has become a new tradition in our home that started last Christmas. I made this with a magnet board and attached magnets to the back of the watch part containers. I decorated it using last Christmas's designer series paper. Each day, instead of treats, we put in a piece of paper with a special Christmas related activity that we will do for the day! Some examples that we have used are, read your favourite Christmas story, bake sugar cookies, go for a walk and look at the Christmas lights, watch the Grinch that stole Christmas.....The kids run downstairs every morning to see what activity we are going to do that day!

Snowman Gift Card Holder
This has been a favourite at my workshops this season. I got the idea from a swap that I received at Convention this summer by Marjie (no last name??) All it is, is an envelope folded in half, a ribbon tied around and cardstock on the back (the ribbon goes between the back of the envelope and the Chocolate Chip cardstock) and a cute snowman stamped on the front!
For this particular version, I used Snow Buddies stamp set, Warm Words stamp set, the Merry Moments DSP and co-ordinating Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla cardstock. Don't forget to keep one side of the envelope open so you can insert a gift card for that very special person on your shopping list!

How to get what you really want for Christmas
It is that time of year again. It has been an annual tradition in my business to offer a gift registry service.
So, get a cup of your favourite hot drink while you browse through the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog and make your wish list. (if it is anything like mine, get a big piece of paper)
Simply send a copy of your wish list to me.
Then, let the Santa’s in your life know that you have registered your wish list with me and give them my contact information.
Santa’s can either choose specific items from your list, specify an amount they would like to spend and let me choose from your list, or they can purchase a gift certificate just for you!
Let your Santa's know that this will even include free gift wrapping if they wish.
I will need all orders by noon on December 10th to ensure adequate time for delivery on the 24th!

Rockin' Birthday Card
My DD turned 7 last week and this was the card that I made for her birthday. I ran a piece of Lovely Lilac cardstock through the Big Shot with the large polka dot template and layered that on Basic Black and a Whisper White card. I stamped the skull with the Just Jawing stamp set and sprinkled some pink chunky glitter for the eyes. I tied 5/8" Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon and stamped the sentiment with the Happy Birthday from Family Phrases.
I did make some cute invites to the party using the same set with some Designer series paper as the background but I forgot to snap a photo of them before we delivered them.

Season of Friendship
I've been a bit behind in my blogging....but I plan to have a number of posts this week. Since we've been experiecing all sorts of weather/seasons in Calgary this week here are a couple of my favourites using the Season of Friendship stamp set and the new In Colours.
The tree has been stamped in Soft Suede for both cards. The snowflakes are stamped in Bermuda Breeze with some Bermuda Breeze polka dot grosgrain ribbon and layered with Soft Suede cardstock on a Bermuda Breeze card. The leaves are stamped in Old Olive, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry. The ribbon is the Dusty Durango polka dot grosgrain and the card is layered with Soft Suede on a Dusty Durango card.

Another vehicle card
Here is another card that I made for Ethan's second birthday. It is using a retired stamp set that I had borrowed but I love this layout with the filmstrip look. The cardstock is Brilliant Blue
and the filmstrip is in Basic Black - I used the spiral punch along each of the sides. Each vehicle is stamped in Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango. Cars, trains and trucks are his favourites!
Choo Choo
This is what Ethan always says when he sees a train so it was fitting to make him this birthday card for his 2nd birthday today!
I CASED this card from Lori McCarthy. I used the Choo Choo stamp set in Real Red and Night of Navy and the Tracks wheel in Basic Black. I cut out each piece of the train and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. The steam is stamped in Basic Gray, stamping off each time to give it the fading out look. The sentiment is from the Family Phrases stamp set and the "2nd" is from Calendar Alphabets and Numbers.

Ribbon of Hope
I love that Stampin' Up! now sells some individual stamps (see page 208 in the Idea book and catalogue). I used the Ribbon of Hope stamp and stamped it in Pretty in Pink as I am participating in the run for the cure on October 4th. However, you could stamp the ribbon in the colour that represents your cause.
I wanted to keep the card fairly simple. I stamped the ribbon in Pretty in Pink on Whisper White cardstock. I then layered it on Pretty in Pink and Basic Black cardstock and tied 1/4" Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon around it.
If you would like to support me on my run, please follow this link to make a donation. https://www.cibcrunforthecure.com/html/p.asp?t=3564013&l=1
thanks! Adrienne

All in the Family
I am so excited! I received my delivery late yesterday and couldn't decide what to do first today - play with My Digital Studio or put the All in the Family Decor Elements on the van. So, I loaded up the software and while my (ancient) computer was rebooting I put our family on the back of the van. It was so unbelievably easy and fast to do! I've got the All in the Family Father, Mother, Big Sister, Big/Little Sister combo and Little Brother . To represent my younger daughter, I took the head of the Big Sister, the body of the Little Sister and the legs of the Big Sister and shortened them. So with the exception of my combo, each person comes as one piece - just rub, pull off the backing and place on your cleaned surface. I love how it turned out.
Now, off to play with My Digital Studio....

Happy 60th Anniversary!
Well here it is. My very first blog posting! I have been thinking about starting my blog for sometime now and I have been slowing working on getting things set up. There is lots to learn and I'm just going to start with what I have here and I will plan to update my "look" as I go along.
This is a card that I made tonight for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary this weekend. I needed to get it in the mail by tomorrow to ensure that they receive it on time.
I used the Baroque Motif stamp set with Very Vanilla craft ink and clear embossing powder. The top of the card is Bravo Burgundy and I stamped Happy Anniversary in Bravo Burgundy as well. The ribbon is Bravo Burgundy 1/4" grosgrain with ivory organdy retired ribbon. This is a Free Standing Pop Up card - the instructions are from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/freestandingpopupcard/
